THE MARQUIS IS HERE!
Sneak peek scene, with a timely twist: Espion shivered from fear as Charlatan came over to his ear and whispered. “Do you realize what will happen if America becomes free?” “Wh-what, Master?” Espion timidly asked. “EVERYTHING CHANGESSSSSS!” the snake hissed. “The Enemy’s plans to sssssspread his ‘good news’ of freedom will lead to free thought and free will. They will be able to worship the Enemy freely, just like He wants. It will open the door for free expression and opportunities for humans to do things they never dreamed they could do, as the Enemy intended. It will lead to joy and happiness and GOODNESSSSSS!” The snake closed his eyes and shuddered. “Freedom stands opposed to all that my Master stands for. He first chose ME in the animal kingdom to fight against such unimaginable light. WE are charged with death. We kill human bodies as our first priority, and if we can’t kill their bodies, then we’ll kill their minds, or their spirits.” The snake slithered in front of them, held them in his gaze and wore a malicious grin. “Killing their will to be free leads to the death of everything else.” (The Marquis, the Escape, and the Fox by Jenny L. Cote, COMING 2023.)
Thank you Ms Jenny, you made my homeschooling experience so very delightful, exciting, and memorable. You helped and molded us into the amazing young man and women we are today. You are the reason my brother and I LOVE reading. You are a God Send, an Amazing Blessing from Our Father. Please continue touching and shaping young hearts and minds. No matter how old I get (presently I am 19) I will continue reading and studying your work. You are a modern day C. S. Lewis! - Joelie Hurley
"You are the greatest writer of all time, except for God who wrote the greatest book of all. I really like how Max, Liz and the others travel through history. While I read your books, I grow in peace with the Maker, and I read his word more and more. Through your books I have grown much in the Lord and he has become first in my life. Because of you and your books, I want to become an author, too." - Samuel Rice, 11, 5th Grade, The King's Academy, Roswell, GA
About 2 or 3 chapters in, I already realized Jenny was no ordinary author! Without even finishing this first book, I went ahead and ordered all the rest that she had written so far, and was so glad that I did! As a mom who homeschools, these are EXACTLY the kind of stories I want my kids reading. -Mary Cramer
Recommended by the preeminent Homeschool Magazine!
Our family has quickly become an enthusiastic fan of Jenny Cote’s series. As homeschoolers, we have been thrilled to use these historical fiction books side by side with our history studies...Because of the amount of time and research that goes into each of her books, as a homeschool mom, I feel quite comfortable in not only using these books as pleasure reading but also as a fun supplement to our homeschool day. I feel confident you will feel the same way as you allow the loveable characters of Max and Liz, along with their band of friends steal your heart, capture your imagination, and teach you about History. "I want to thank you so much for what you are doing by writing about America's history. I honestly prefer your books over Rush Limbaugh's "Rush Revere" series!!! I am making my way through The Declaration, the Sword, and the Spy, and I am learning more with every page I turn! You are unequivocal as an author. I wish that there was a way to get your books into the hands of every school-age American, because you are declaring the truth of our history that needs to be remembered now more than ever before in our nation's history!!!" - Heidi Worley, 19, Chattanooga, TN

"Thank you for writing the Max and Liz books. My father read them to me when I was young, instilling in me an early love for history. My love for history led me to learn to read. You see, my grandpa helped me learn to read. I was uninterested until I started to read history books. Now I am a fluent reader reading The Hobbit and even Max and Liz. I was so excited when you wrote the books about the revolutionary war. I am so thankful for you writing the books that changed my life. My favorite revolutionary war hero is the swamp fox Francis Marion so I was wondering if you could put him in your next book. Thank you and God bless you." -Josiah Truman Guthrie
"Hello Jenny. We recently discovered your books and my 12 year old son has voraciously read every one in the past 2 months (it only took him that long as he had to wait for more books to be ordered and shipped!!). As Australians, I’ve not known very much about American history, but now my son definitely knows more than I ever did, and from a Godly perspective!! He now knows more Bible than he previously cared to known too! All thanks to your amazing books that are creatively written to intertwine history and fiction. Just wanted to say thanks! Your hard work is working at touching the hearts and minds of the next generation, and introducing them to God in a real and tangible way. With gratitude, from a homeschool mum of 3, from Australia." - Alissa Stubberfield

I just downloaded every podcast of Epic Order of the Seven for my 13 year old, Rochelle, to listen to on an upcoming trip. I’m a very cautious mother when it comes to books, music, and videos for my kiddo. After reading your books I feel perfectly comfortable allowing her to listen to them without me.
