Epic Outing with Patrick Henry in Colonial Williamsburg!
What could be better than celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Patrick Henry? Join Authors Jenny L. Cote and Libby McNamee on Friday, March 17, 2023 for an Epic Outing in Colonial Williamsburg with none other than Patrick Henry himself! Don't miss this epic opportunity to spend time with the Voice of the Revolution. Space is limited to 40 attendees, so register early. Open to homeschoolers, school students and their families wishing to join this special event, rain or shine. Tickets: $17 per person, children aged 6 and under are free.

9:30 a.m. Orientation
We will gather at the far side of the Capitol Building by the Waller Street bus stop (see shamrock on map) for orientation. Jenny will discuss scenes from her book, The Voice, the Revolution, and the Key that took place in Williamsburg. She'll give you an overview of the history and the fiction before we visit the sites. The book will come alive as you walk the same ground where Patrick Henry lived, worked, worshiped and used his VOICE to change American history!
10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Walking Tour of Colonial Williamsburg with Patrick Henry
Our walking tour with Mr. Henry begins at 10:00, and he will discuss pivotal moments of his life and career as we visit the Capitol, Raleigh Tavern, Powder Magazine, Bruton Parish Church, Wythe House and the Governor's Palace. (We will not enter any of the buildings, so no pass is required. If you wish to go back to enter any of the buildings after lunch, you may purchase a pass from Colonial Williamsburg at https://www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/tickets/.)
11:30 a.m. Optional Lunch with Jenny, Libby and Patrick Henry
After the tour, we will walk to Merchant's Square for an optional lunch with Mr. Henry at La Piazza (order/pay your own bill). Jenny and Libby will sign pre-ordered books (or books you bring) at lunch.
